Dr. Clayton Blackwell is a current PGY-1 resident in Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2024 with his DDS. Upon graduation, he was the recipient of the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology Award, the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award, and the Donald A. Kerr Award in Oral Pathology.
Dr. Hayden Han is a current PGY-1 resident in Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in 2021 with a D.D.S. degree. At commencement, he received the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award. He continued his training in General Practice Residency from Michigan Medicine Hospital for medically complex, special needs patients and emergency cases. He possesses an enthusiasm for diagnosing and treating oral conditions including orofacial pain, and eagerly anticipates providing care for patients requiring hospital-based treatment. Dr. Han is honored to be part of this program, and excited to meet and interact with patients in Philadelphia.
Dr. Sai S. Vejella is a current PGY-1 resident in Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Government Dental College & Research Institute with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and later earned a Master of Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Southern Mississippi. As a Clinical Fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine & Diagnostics at Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Vejella deepened his expertise in diagnosing and managing complex oral conditions. He is passionately committed to both patient care and oral health education, having served as a Teaching Assistant where he taught courses in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology. Dr. Vejella is also the founder of For A Cause Team Service (FACTS), demonstrating his dedication to community service and health advocacy.
